Ambassador Alaa Yousif, Spokesperson for the Presidency of the Republic, said that Dr. Ashraf Al-Sharqawi, Minister of Business, reviewed during his meeting with President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi today and other ministers a report on the efforts to develop and reform public sector companies, especially pharmaceutical companies.
"The development plans include the development of production lines, the addition of new products, the improvement of the level of employees and the refinement of their abilities and skills, which will contribute to increasing the market share of companies and raising their revenues and maximize their participation in the process of developing the national economy," he added.
President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi stressed the importance of periodic follow-up to the implementation of plans to develop public business companies, pointing to the importance of improving performance and increase profits, while taking care to improve the quality of the Egyptian product and its competitiveness.
The meeting reviewed the actions taken in the framework of the Unused assets of the state Committee established under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister to establish an integrated asset assessment database. In that regard, the President quickly completed the completion of the database on unutilized assets of all State sectors In order to contribute to the preservation of public funds and to the optimal utilization of the State's assets and to maximize their utilization.
